- Open Microsoft Outlook 2010
- Click on File > Info
- Click on Account Settings > Account Settings
- Select your email account from the list and click on Change
- Click on More Settings
- Click on Outgoing Server
- Tick the box labeled, "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires Authentication".
- Keep the default setting, "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
- Click OK to finish this step.
- Click Next to finish and then Finish to complete the process.
