Please note that PHP 7.4 will reach End Of Life (EOL) on 28 November 2022. The PHP developers will provide essential security update till 10 December 2022. Asof November 2023, PHP 7.4 will no longer be available on our servers.
PHP 8.1 was released on 25 November 2021, and has been activated on our cPanel servers on after some stability testing.
All our servers support and PHP 8.0 and PHP 8.1 at the time of writing this announcement.
Please update all your PHP scripts to be compatible with the PHP 8.0 or PHP 8.1 as soon possible, or the latest stable release, as released by the respective developers. Softaculous has an easy-to-use update option for all installed scripts.

What will happen if I don't upgrade my scripts to the latest PHP version?
- The consequences of not updating your website scripts to the latest PHP version could result in your website not working at all.
- Your website's security could be compromised, and it may be open to attackers taking down, or abusing your website to spread illegal information or data over the internet.
- Newer PHP versions also introduce improved performance and stability enhancements. Running an outdated PHP version could cause your website to become unstable.
