Server maintenance in Scanton, USA - Monday 31 March 2014
=======================================================
UPDATE #6 (Tuesday 1 April @ 22:06AM):
The servers are back online! The last bit of waiting was caused by incomplete Firber cables to the cabinets which was still being layed by the time the trucks arrived and the servers were installed.
=======================================================
UPDATE #5 (Tuesday 1 April @ 6:23AM):
The trucks have arrived at the new Data Center and everything is being installed and should come on during the course of the day.
=======================================================
UPDATE #4 (Monday 31st March @ 03:43PM):
We do apologize for the lack of updates but news has been slow to get to us from the trucking company. It seems that after the delay caused by overloaded weight, one of the drivers was required by law to rest for 10 hours (Department of Transportation rules). This has now delayed the arrival of the servers significantly more than we estimated. The new arrival time is estimated to be 10PM GMT+2. If you are not online yet, it means your machine is on this truck and we are simply hoping to have you online "at some point today". Please be advised that we are EXTREMELY busy working on this migration and doing everything we can to get all the servers back online again.
Thank you. Your business is very much appreciated!

UPDATE #3 (Monday 31st March @ 10:19AM):
One of the trucks that was transporting the servers to the new Data Center, in the USA has problems along the route and another truck had to be dispatched to transport the equipment to the Data Center. As such, there's a delay and we have received an estemated ETA of 10AM on Monday morning. But it might take a bit longer to get everything setup once the equipment arrives at the Data Center.
=======================================================
UPDATE #2 (Sunday 30th March @ 23:52PM):
This is an update regarding the migration. There is currently minor technical problems with the trucks which are being used to transport all our servers. The new arrival time is now 10AM March 31st (GMT+2)
More updates are to follow.
Please be aware that our goal is to make the transition as easy as possible on everyone. Please also be aware that we expect to be fielding many calls and support tickets during this time. Please try to refrain from calling us or filing a ticket until we make an announcement that everything is at the destination and powered back online. We are devoting all available resources to the technicalities of this move so it may become difficult to respond to communications as quickly as usual.
Your business is appreciated very much and we hope you will enjoy the many benefits to come from this necessary move/upgrade.
=======================================================
UPDATE: The server transfer will now begin on Sunday, 30th March from 10am, GMT + 2
=======================================================
This notice is for our Scranton, USA clients only. THIS DOES NOT AFFECT ANYONE ELSE. Due to a number of factors, we have determined that it is necessary to move the servers in Scanton, USA to a new datacenter.
There are a number of significant advantages:
*Tier 3 Data Center in North Carolina (dc74)
*More Redundant Network with 3X the carriers currently provided
*Larger bandwidth capacity
*Type II audited facility
This decision was made as an alternative to keeping servers elsewhere in Pennsylvania mainly because the IP space will remain the same. YOUR EXISTING IPS WILL KEEP WORKING. Our equipment will be shut down around 3am (GMT+2) Monday, March 31th 2014 and should come back online without any complications, around 3pm (GMT+2) Monday afternoon.
Equipment is being moved cabinet by cabinet so the job is not as extensive as it would be if individaul servers were being moved. We apologize for the problems this disruption will cause. We will have tech support available during the entire operation to keep everyone updated. The advantages will be plentiful! Your business is appreciated.
Please open a support ticket if you have any questions.
